Asters are September birth month, and those babies are lucky because this flower is beautiful. These flowers often symbolize friendship and patience. In Greek mythology, asters are thought to come from the goddess Astraea; the story goes that she cried after the god, Jupiter, flooded the earth to end a war, and her tears fell to earth and bloomed into asters. In the language of flowers, they mean "daintiness," and they're also the flower for 20th wedding anniversaries.
